WHAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST SESSION?
This first session is where we hear your story in order to gain understanding about your experience of the problem and what outcome you’d like to achieve
Together you decide the way forward.
Tasks or ‘homework’ can be set between sessions if it’s appropriate. You can opt for eMail support with this should you wish.
If you have chosen Hypnotherapy, trance is not usually in the first session as an understanding of your issue is really important so we can tailor the correct way forward for you.
The first session is up to 90 minutes there after up to one hour. Children are 45 minutes.
HOW QUICKLY DOES IT WORK?
The number of sessions depends on the nature of the problem and your needs. However Hypnotherapy and NLP are goal-focused approaches, so often neeed far fewer sessions than other types of therapy.
Change almost always occurs from the first session. Making the decision to make a change is itself one of the biggest steps towards the new you.
Smoking norally takes 2 longer sessions with one in reserve and other problems can take up to six sessions. Between 2 and six sessions are the average.
